Hydropower plant at Großer Deich in Offenburg produces green electricity at the Kinzig
Beside the production of green electricity, E-Werk Mittelbaden contributes with the construction of this plant to the ecological improvement of the river Kinzig. The integrated fish ladder for ascending and descending fish allows migratory fish species like the salmon to pass the hydropower plant without any difficulties.
